Ceremony Site

Hi Everyone!  Weather is looking great in New York for the outdoor ceremony.  Brooklyn Bridge Park has a couple of entry points - please come to the entry at Plymouth and Main Streets. You'll see a flag pole and we'll have someone there directing foot traffic at about 5:10pm or so...  we said previously that it's a standing ceremony - there is a stone amphitheater so anyone who wants to sit is welcome to do so!  See you soon!

Gifts and Registry

We really appreciate the effort and expense involved with attending our wedding in New York.  We are sincere in our sentiment that your presence is our present; additional gifts are truly not expected.

That said, we have had a number of requests about our registry location.  We are registered online at giftregistry360.com.

The link to our list is here:  http://www.giftregistry360.com/wishlist/michelleandclark

The Wedding Invitation

All artwork associated with our invitation was designed and executed by Michelle.  The above image was printed using Print Gocco, a miniature screen printing device originally developed for the Japanese home consumer.

Brooklyn Sheraton Room Block

We have a block of rooms reserved under "Manning/Lee" at the Brooklyn Sheraton, in Downtown Brooklyn.  It's a relatively new hotel with easy access to subways and a reasonable rate for NYC.  Please see their website here:

http://www.starwoodhotels.com/sheraton/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=1727

They are only holding the block until 8/12 so please don't delay!

Getting Around

The subway in NYC is safe and easy, though sometimes trickier in Brooklyn depending on where you want to go.  In Brooklyn, if you want to travel by taxi, you'll need to call a car service.  These are black car outer borough taxis.  Some services we have used:

Arecibo:  (718) 783-6465
Eastern:  (718) 499-6227
Evelynn: (718) 230-7800

Call 10 minutes or so before you need the car, and ask the dispatcher how much the ride will cost.  Hotels in Brooklyn will also be happy to arrange a car for you but it will likely be more expensive.
